Save-On-Meats Come-On!

Save-On-Meats is a throw back to Vancouver’s past. Located at 43 West Hastings, it comes from a time long before the crack trade arrived to the Downtown East Side. Inside you will find a butcher, a convenience shop selling most basic items and a diner. Today it was our breakfast destination.

Dockers Diner (1869 Powell St) is in an area of Vancouver more known for the stench emanating from the nearby chicken factory than for its restaurants.
