Save-On-Meats is a throw back to Vancouver’s past. Located at 43 West Hastings, it comes from a time long before the crack trade arrived to the Downtown East Side. Inside you will find a butcher, a convenience shop selling most basic items and a diner. Today it was our breakfast destination.

Save-on-Meats has been rescheduled to Saturday July 12th, 2008. It would seem that all entries on the previous voting list are only open from Monday - Saturday.
